WS107-1 Jumpers Bations, WW2 Loopholed Wall
Posted on February 10, 2016 / 607
poi type : Loopholed Wall
Location : Gibraltar
Condition : Fair

On the south face of Jumpers Bastion there are two WW2 loopholes built into old gun embrasures. These are simple brick and concrete faces, with a loophole. One postion is not clear from the rear having been built over by a new restaurant. The second postion, closer to the main wall, is open and there is only a loopholed wall, and no overhead defence. There is no sign of specialist mounts for MGs.

This is the most westerly of the two positions and we have not been able to see the rear.
