poi type : Pillbox
Location : Gibraltar
Condition : Fair

This is a well camouflaged British Pillbox believed to date from the early years of WW2.
This is a shall structure, brick lined, with a concrete roof about 5-inches thick. The entrance seems to have been from the South. There is a single loop hole that gives a field of fire down the road towards Willis’s Magazine. It is believed that the occupant would have to be prone to engage. Extremely hard to detect this structure.
The interior appears to be in good condition apart from some stones near the loophole.
