
This is a WW2 Battery which mounted two 4ins Naval Guns. One of the guns was mounted on the edge of the old Europa Advance Battery, while the second gun was mounted roughly where the current road runs. The magazine for this second gun still stands. The battery had a Directing Station, BCP and two supporting Z Batteries for AA defence.
