This is the original site of the BCP for Lewis Battery.  There is a staircase running up the small cliff from the rear (gorge) of the battery to the BCP.

The BCP has an intact DRF Pedestal with a complete top for the instrument.  The lower floor is now secured and used as an electricity sub station.

There are two small concrete platforms, about 10 meteres to the north and south of the BCP.  It is believed that these may have been for further pedestals, or possibly Z Battery Launchers in WW2.
